Kinote ("we", "us", or "our") is an AI-powered note-taking and scheduling app built and operated by SULPHOOR LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address to authenticate you and send you important service messages.
Note content. Text you write, images you scan, links you submit, and audio recordings you make inside the app are stored in your account to power the app's features. We do not read your notes for advertising or to train general AI models.
Audio recordings. When you use the recording feature, audio files are uploaded to secure cloud storage (Supabase) for transcription. Files are associated with your account only and are not shared with other users.
Usage data. We collect basic diagnostic data (crash reports, feature usage counts) to improve the app. This data is anonymized and not linked to your identity.
Device information. We may collect your device model, OS version, and app version for debugging and compatibility purposes.
Kinote uses AI to parse note content and generate schedule suggestions, and to transcribe and summarize audio recordings. Your note and audio content is sent to our backend (Supabase Edge Functions) to perform these tasks. We do not sell your data to AI providers or use it to train third-party models.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that power Kinote:
All providers are bound by data processing agreements and are prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
Your notes and recordings are retained as long as your account is active. You may delete individual notes or recordings at any time inside the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us at d333p@protonmail.ch and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your data requires authentication. We follow industry-standard security practices and review them regularly.
Kinote is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email d333p@protonmail.ch.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
